“I just wanted to let you know that after eight months I finally received the certified birth certificates for my mother and grandfather from the NYS Health Dept. Couldn’t have done it without you! Just wanted to thank you again.”

“I wanted to let you know that my three adult children and I received formal Italian Citizenship recognition earlier today from the NYC Consulate. You helped us early in 2022 with an OATS [one and the same] and the NYSDOH. That piece was critical along with some follow-up work I had to do, and the outcome was positive. Again, thank you!”

“Caterina represented me in a dual citizenship matter. Although I live on the west coast, the majority of the necessary documents belonging to my antecedents were archived in New York State and New York City. Some documents could not be released without a court order and there were discrepancies in others necessitating a “one and the same” court order. Despite the geographical challenges of the two coasts and a pandemic, Caterina handled it all and we were granted the court order. My dual citizenship was ultimately approved and Caterina was a big part of that success. She’s also quite personable and a good conversationalist. Highly recommended.”

“For many months, I had been assembling my documents for dual citizenship with Italy. It was a tedious process that required certified copies of birth, marriage, and death certificates, along with a stack of other paperwork.
When it came time to obtain documents from Syracuse, I could not travel from California because of the pandemic. In addition, I needed the court’s permission to obtain my father’s certified birth certificate because he had passed away. When I looked into it, the process seemed rather complicated for the lay person, and I’d received conflicting information from others. What to do?
Caterina Ranieri was recommended to me from an online group of other citizenship applicants. When I contacted her, she said that she’s managed this process before and knew how to file the petition to get the birth certificate released. She then quickly obtained the necessary documents, and she filed a petition to the New York State Attorney General for approval to release my father’s certified birth certificate to me. That petition was approved.
I recently completed my entire application package, and I’m now on my way to having my Italian citizenship recognized. Caterina played an important role in helping me wrap up this process. Her work is allowing me to fulfill a lifelong goal. If I need assistance in the future, I most definitely will contact her again.”
